Romantic Aruba Getaway - My wife and I found a package deal to Aruba and we absolutely loved it. The sun was hot and bright, the water was warm and inviting, the food was some of the best we've had, the people were friendly, and the beaches were fabulous! We spent most of our time on Eagle beach, walking and relaxing. We also took a tour and saw the sites and would love to return to enjoy Aruba again in the future.
It's a long flight from Michigan to Aruba, total travel time from where I live is about 12 hours each way. Once you arrive you know it was worth the long trip. I love traveling so I enjoy it, and it helps make the whole getaway enjoyable. We usually check in, drop our bags, and head out to explore which usually means the beach, and Aruba's beaches are first rate. One morning we walked the beach for close to an hour in one direction before turning around to go back. We hadn't even reached the end of the beach! It was always sunny, and always breezy. The wind blows constantly, but don't let that fool you. That sun is hot! The nights were cool, especially with the constant breeze and the warmth of the day lingering on your skin, but always enjoyable.
Just What We Needed...
Our romantic Aruba getaway included romantic dinners, horse back riding, an island tour with a picnic lunch, romantic sunsets, in-room hot tub, and more. It's always exciting exploring new places, especially as a couple. If you know how to slow down and relax together a getaway can be just what you both need to relax, recharge, and reconnect with each other.
Aruba has lots of great romantic package options. I prefer package deals because there is less thinking once you arrive. The last thing I want to do on a romantic getaway is have to think of anything other than who I'm with and how much we are enjoying our alone time.
