Love Notes
Quick and Easy Romance Love notes are like a condensed version of a love letter. They have the meat of the letter in a couple sentences or even just a couple words. Where you can expect happiness and possibly tears with a love letter, you can shorten it up and expect lots of smiles and lots of hugs too. These are a fun, romantic option to the love letter.
What kinds of things are in your love notes? Just a short sentence or two, or even just a word or two...
♥ I love you
♥ Hey sexy!
♥ Your hugs rock!
♥ I'm glad we're together
♥ You are my sunshine
♥ I looked up the word beautiful in the dictionary and your picture was there
♥ We belong together
♥ I'm so happy you came into my life
See what I mean?! Short and sweet, easy and effective!
She will love these... If you're stuck for what to write, spend some time browsing the greeting card section. Greeting cards are built upon saying the right thing in a small space. If you must, take your camera phone and take pictures of different ideas that you like. Then take those pictures home and rewrite your own love notes.
Don't steal other peoples work - writing exactly what you see on the cards is stealing. Just rewrite it so it sounds like the way you talk. Also, don't forget when you tell her something (for instance, I love your smile) if you tell her why (because it makes me feel happy inside) it will have more meaning.
Use love notes to describe the ways you think she is fun, sexy, funny, strong, smart, beautiful, creative, thoughtful, happy, etc
Make it fun... Write her a whole bunch of love notes and leave them hidden in places where she will find them in the course of her normal day to day activities. Get yourself a small pad of fancy looking note paper or sticky notes. 3" x 3" worked for me. Write a short note on each one. Try to think up a lot, 12, 25, 50 or more. It's okay if some or even all of them repeat once or twice. Once you have a big stack of notes stick them in places she will find them. Inside cabinet doors, in her car's glove compartment, under her pillow, inside the refrigerator, in book covers, under the TV remote, in her closet, on the bathroom mirror. Put them everywhere. It may take her days, weeks, or even months to find them all but she will get a jolt of joy each time she does. I did this idea years ago and it took my wife a long time to find them. I think she still has them too!
Have fun with these ideas and you can't go wrong. Good luck!
