Date Night IdeasWhat's Happening Tonight?!Date Night Ideas can be as simple as going out for coffee or ice cream, and as elaborate as a romantic overnight getaway to an exotic location. This night isn't so much about where you go or what you do - date night is about making time to do something together. This is where you can find and share the most romantic, fun, and exciting date night ideas. My wife and I have started an idea box of things to do. We use index cards to write our ideas about what we'd like to do together. Anytime we see, hear, or think of something to do together we put them in the box. We then take turns, she pulls a card for this night and I pull the card for the next time.  Pull the card about a week in advance to give time for planning, reservations, or whatever else is needed to get ready.Knowing you're going to do something and waiting for the night to arrive builds up the excitement and anticipation for the date. There is no shortage of ideas you can share, picking what to do can be fun in itself, and you'll always have the memories of great date nights as long as you remember one simple rule of date night... You will catch yourself talking about work, kids, worries, problems, etc, but do your best to change the subject. Date night is about enjoying your time together. Trust me, all those things will be there when you wake up tomorrow. Tonight is your night.
