Laugh Your Head Off At A Comedy Club

A Great Fun, Creative, or First Date

A comedy club date is a perfect first date, fun date, or creative date idea. If you've never been to one of these shows you are in for a treat. I've been to a few and I have never laughed so hard in my life and I can't even tell you the names of any comedians I saw. It doesn't really matter who you see because there is something about live comedy that makes it insanely fun and funny.

We have a club out here that charges about $10 or less with a 2 drink minimum. They also have several show time options, non smoking shows, and you can get reservations for larger parties. It's a 21+ club since they serve alcohol, and tickets can be purchased online.

Romantic Date IdeaIf you really want to have some fun with this idea sit up front and be ready for anything. If you can't stand being teased or targeted by the comedian during his or her act it would be best if you pick the back of the club where you can watch in peace. Every time we've been to a comedy club, no matter where we sit they seem to find us. I don't mind the jokes and it makes for a very fun and interesting night.

There won't be a whole lot of talking time with your date once the show gets started. Our local club asks you to arrive about 30 minutes early. You'll get yourself settled, order a drink, and chat it up with your date before the show starts. We usually see one or two opening acts and a featured comedian. They also have an MC who may also do a short routine before and between each act. We've never been disappointed with quality of talent at these small shows.

One word of warning, if you are easily offended you might want to check to see if they have an all ages show. Otherwise it's usually anything goes at an adults only show. The language can get pretty graphic and no subject is off limits. Oh, and don't forget to turn off the cell phone or you'll risk being picked on or kicked out.

If you like to laugh a lot this is a great date idea. I laugh so hard at these places my face hurts by the time we leave. Seriously, if you want a good hard laugh, sometimes until you cry, check out a comedy club.
